As a member any self-penned (original) play performed in your festival will be eligible to be entered into the Crawshay Club Playwriting competition winners play is published by Cressrelles Publishing Company Limited.

That DAW has over 90 years of experience of working and supporting theatre groups across Wales to organise regional One Act Festivals with the end goal to represent Wales at the annual British final, why wouldn’t you want to be a member?

We run an annual Summer School. A week of developing your acting skills with UK theatrical experts via a variety of creative workshops. As DAW members you can attend at a discounted price.

As with your theatre Company festival, DAW is run by volunteers. Our objective is the same as yours: to encourage as many theatre companies and audience members as possible to participate in - and enjoy - amateur theatre. We’re passionate about promoting and supporting those groups who’ve put their heart and soul into producing exceptional theatre.
